I'm putting together a Run around the Essex Countryside for the 21st June 2008.

Start & finish point will be Birchanger Services J8/M11.
Meet 9.30am leaving sharp at 10.00am
Please make sure you have a full tank of fuel at the start.
Shell V-Power available at the Services.

Both parts of the Run have been tried and tested and also the Fabulous Lunch Stop

Lunch Menu as follows

2 courses inc. Vegetables and coffee £22 per head (worth every penny)

STARTERS

Soup of the day

Deep Fried Brie served with pineapple chutney

White Hart Salad..dressed leaves,crayfish,pine nuts,sun blushed tomatoes,
blue cheese and crispy pancetta

Prawn & Crayfish Tower on a bed of new potato salad, topped with chive cream cheese, drizzled with herb oil

Chicken Liver Pate with pineapple and chilli chutney and home made bread.

MAIN COURSE

Saute Lambs Liver & Bacon on bubble and squeak with onion jus

Roasted Chicken Supreme with daulphinoise potatoes & red wine jus

Gilled Fillet of Salmon with new potatoes & cream sauce

Roasted Pork Tenderloin with apple mash & thyme jus

Smoked Chicken Salad with dressed baby gem lettuce,cashew nuts,mango and house dressing.

Pub eat in places? I did look at putting an McDs in arrivals but couldn't make it stack up.

There are two wings so far because of numbers attending.

The route is a mixture of roads so the pace will be 'brisk' but not all 'blistering' so IMO suitable for everyone
