RPI Air ram scoop fitting

Got this kit from Race Precision in the US which claims to reduce the fuel consumption by about 2 mpg as well as increased performance due to the ram air effect.

The replacement filter was a simple swap for the old one, so lid off, remove old, replace with new. No pictures taken from that.

First insert the screws in the holes as they are otherwise very difficult to get in:

Use a small screwdriver to fix the top screw first as you still have movement to get your hand in. Use the long screw driver for the bottom and side screw:

2mpg better off and a performance increase from a redesigned air scoop - sounds great. Let us know if it works

Noise is better

The MPG is mainly from the filter, which I fitted before I went to Sotland. That got my M on 32 MPG on the way up and down, so that was almost 2 mpg better then normal.

Performance wise, it feels a little more responsive. All in all, very pleased.
