Just To Say Hi

Post by bobandshar »

Have owned my Zed for just over a week now.

After many hours spent looking at models, exterior and interior, i've settled with a zed that was advertised as Pearl Green with Cream leather, a colour that i'd not come across before.

Since getting her home and doing my own homework and thanks to this great forum, i now feel i've picked up a real bargain. She happens to be a 1999T 2.8 Orinoco Paint with Orinoco interior.

I'll post some Photo's one day, hopefully when it has stopped raining.

Can i ask what your thoughts would be regarding the addition of chrome side grilles and chrome roll bars?

Hi Sharon and welcome to the forum :wave

As you already have the chrome window surround and door handles, I think roll hoops and gills would look great :thumb:
Rememebr though that these are all personal opinions and not everyone will agree
Some like chrome, some don't ......

Nearly two months on and I have put my own mark on her. Have kept all the original parts so I can return her back to the way she was when first purchased. Absolutely love driving her and all the attention received from other BMW owners, didn't expect it being quite like this!

Looks great, I wonder if it's an Individual model? The piping suggests it may well be...
