Wifes Z3 1.9 clutch is on its way out, release bearing sounds like a machine gun
Going to attempt to replace in a couple of weeks, anything i should know?
Thanks.
Hope to God the flywheel is still okay.

i dropped the whole exhaust, but that was only because i was rebuilding it.
the studs can be an issue, i have an impact wrench and compressor so they came off easy. i did knock them out and replace with new stainless bolts after.
i think you would only have to drop the front section to drop the prop and box, mind you once thats off the back section comes off easy anyhow so it's not a big deal.
get some gloves so you dont skin your hands when doing the starter motor and bellhousing bolts.
and of course a large hammer to hit things with when it winds you up
