installing new horns.

Post by lurch 1 »

Purchased pair new horns from Halfords, am I correct in thinking that these horns will be straight swap? ie The existing 2 wires on on each side Z3 (1 power and 1 earth) will just connect to the 2 terminals on the new horns? Only modification will be to remove original plug on car and put spade terminals on each wire as horns have spades. Many thanks for advise. :?:

Yep. "Sounds" like you have it all figured out.

Good Luck

If it does not work you can get this from China.

I could have used one of those today - some plonker stopped before pulling out of his drive, then rolled forward a bit when I was quite near, looking like he was going to come out - cue frantic braking and honking from me - how was I supposed to know whether he was going to carry on coming or not - and I was in the frog, so no anti-lock brakes. One of those would have been brilliant.
