my thoughts were along the Ferrari 355 to MR2 bodykit - with the skinny wheel upgrade (downgrade?)wonderloaf wrote:Hmmm...has anybody ever tried turning their z3 into an mx-5?
Personally, i'd rather set fire to my face,
and have it put it out with a shovel.

Have driven a few & owned both Mk1 MX-5 & Z3 - liked both though tired examples of each can disappoint. Normally aspirated Mk1 could benefit more power at times albeit there are plenty of well sorted MK1 MX-5's. Pro's & Cons of both cars but still admire the Z3 hence that's currently on drive & not Mk1 MX-5.
Had I seen this &/or the PH thread earlier I would have contributed, however, the PH thread seems to have run it's natural course as it is absent of recent comments.
Ironically the PH member who by far best defended our cars is banned here, (Always felt guilty for engaging early chat that developed & led to the ban). I admin on another BMW forum & thus respect any further chat/deliberation on the subject may not be kindly received
Moving on then..... As for the mutilated car - It may sound daft but I actually feel a little sorry for it
