So who has already fitted their hardtop to their zed? And if not when do you plan on fitting them?

As its been very dry and not too cold recently I have yet to fit mine but its been chucking it down all day today and the forecast doesn't look too good for the next week, which got me thinking is it time to put it on?

I'm sure if I fit it, it will be on and off several times throughout the winter when we get a few nice sunny days as there is nothing like driving round with the roof down when its sunny but absolutely freezing 8-)

We fitted ours last Sunday :P

Generally I use the BST/GMT clock change as a guide
However we got caught out last year. In the hope of some bright frosty days the hard lid stayed in the garage while Zeddy shivered under 6" of snow
No chances being taken this year but it's not too difficult to lift it off if the weather suits.

Not put mine on yet, but I might try and get it put on next week. Like Titan, I tend to wait until the clocks change before swapping over.

It needs to be a dry day to do it, as it doesn't do the roof any good to fold it down wet and then leave it for several months!

They pop on and off easy enough if you do want to take the car out with the roof down during the winter months - did this with mine one February up in the Lakes - left it my parents lawn for the day.

Cheers R.

I have had my car now for nearly two years and the lid has not been off once.
Partly due to the inclement summer weather we have had but to be totally honest, I just love the the look of the car with it on.

I know, I know, buy a coupe....

Mine went on last week after a couple of dry days to ensure hood was dry for storage. Main reason for having it is the heated rear screen, makes driving in winter much easier especially early mornings.

Hi spurs, you still thinking of selling yours?
Might be interested if you get it painted silver.

Have delayed putting ours on this year mainly because the weather has been so good.

Starting to think about it now though, hopefully having the winch this year will make whipping it off for a quick sunny blat that much easier.

I wanted to get one of these as it's my every dayer and I have a feeling it's going to be rough in the winter...

I've had my roof down about 8 times in the last 2 weeks and I'm adamant that it's going down a few more times.

I still wish I had one.

Mine went on last Sunday just after a run back from Cambridge so it was nice and dry.

Picking up a HT for the 330 this weekend :D :D

Well I was going to put it on this afternoon until it started to pee down :head:

Hopefully I can fully dry out the hood tomorrow and put it on in the afternoon, can't wait as I love the look of the zed with it on especially with my summer wheels :D

Ours is on, fitted about 3 weeks ago. Wife is very pleased with it's purpose and I'm really pleased with the aesthetics. The real test will be in the upcoming weeks when temp drops. Just holding off till the winter wheels go on, had the tyres fitted and wheels balanced last week ready to go
