cold start problem [please help]

z3 didnt want to start this morning,i checked battery it was fine and nothing draining it .Have changed alternator.starter motor ,spark plugs.ht leads,oil.all last year but still having the same problems in the cold.

Did the engine turn over? Or just click? Or nothing at all?

If all the lights on the dash dimmed and nothing happened then likely to be the battery just not having enough amps.

If it's turning and not firing then it could be a few things, cam sensors, coil pack, flooded and foul the spark plugs etc...

car does turn over think i might settle for a coil pack . thanks for your help

Not sure if this is anything to do with your problem .. but on occasion I find that my zed wont turn over, this is because after releasing the steering lock, it is not quite released, so the keys turn in the ignition but not to the point where the car fires up. So a wiggle of the steering wheel fully disengages the lock & the car turns over.
