Z3 interior bulb with socket....

What is the name of the bulb that sits behind the heater controls? And it's the same as the one that sits inside the ashtray.

Secondly; where can I source these bulbs?

Any help appreciated.

I`m sure these bulbs are dealer only.
I think about £6 buy and there are guides
on here somewhere showing you how to
replace the bulbs

The answer to both questions is "BMW". AFAIK It is a BMW specific bulb and you can buy them from BMW.

The part number is 61.13.8.353.797 and Coopers are currently showing this at £7.44. I suspect that your local dealer will be cheaper. That's a heck of a price hike from the £3.96 I paid 5 years ago - wish I'd bought a few more then, as one of mine is on the blink at the moment.
