Time to post the fleet

Post by Z3andZ4 »

With thanks to Simon this morning

Am at last able to post the UK and Spanish fleet albeit small photo's.

Z4MC bought brand new and still my baby - less than 20k miles.
3 series - wife's grandchild carrier - only the 2.2 litre engine :-(
Z4 Roadster in Mallorca for us.
Z3 the newest addition and reason for joining zroadster forum - which I have to say is superb.

Z3 changes since purchase - small aerial, prsonalised plates, wind deflector, hard top, stand and cover, strut brace and tonneau cover. (All from the forum!!!
Changes to make in short term - all alloys refurb, rusting wing mirror plate to replace, wiring loom needed for hard top heated rear window.

Other changes will no doubt come to mind given time - only had her a few weeks.
2001 Z3 3 litre Sport Roadster - titanium and special
2006 Z4M coupe - Interlagos and red

Neil I was talking to Robert T last week about the hard top wiring loom and he thinks that it should already be fitted but is probably hidden behind the trim near the passengers door that your son unscrewed briefly when you fitted the fitting kit.

A search of the forum may throw up more info.

Nice fleet, Neil! 8-)

The main loom for the hardtop also has connections for the microswitch on the electric roof. To connect the hardtop heated rear windscreen you insert a small extra piece of loom onto the connector at the top of the roof ram and that has a couple of flying leads that connect to the top of the hardtop bracket. If you don't have an electric roof, the connector seems to be tucked back down behind the lateral trim panel. There are some good threads on here with pics showing what the connectors look like.

Cheers R.
