Forza West Chepstow - OUTSTANDING INDIE!

Post by jj29 »

I just wanted to put out a recommendation for FORZA WEST in Chepstow, near the Old Severn Bridge.

Over the years (2!) he's looked after my z very well. Recently my sister decided to go the Z route and I helped her find a 'bargain in need of TLC" Leading up to the purchase Stuart at Forza was happy to cross check other Z'ds that we had found and advise to avoid or otherwise as appropriate. So.. sister has Z, into Forza and a 3 phase improvement plan is generated - nice....

Now then - Stuart is also a bit of an expert on TVR, RR, Bentley and Landrover. We recently took our heavily worked Freelander 2 to him for its Yr 2 service... Wow - good job, GREAT PRICE... We had no hesitation today to return it to him with a 'whine' - wheel bearing? Haldex (Don't go there!), diff? Nope - un-even tyre wear - well known on FL2. Just picked the car up - nicely cleaned all checked out, test driven... And the price for all of this? £0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not quick to recommend - I usually get bitten on the backside... in this case - I'll go with my gut reaction.

That is good to know - we are relocating to the Abergavenny area at the end of the month and will be using Forza West based on the dozens of recommendations I've seen over on Pistonheads. I'd heard Stu was a specialist with TVR's which is also pretty handy as I'll eventually switch to a Tamora one day :)

Hi mate - yep about 15mins up the A465 heading Hereford way. The car has been down about half a dozen times over the last few months when house hunting but not been spotted as yet - I did see your thread with spotted picture but not mine unfortunately! Good to know there are others locally, am still yet to see one other than a Coupe on the roads mind :)
