I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Very nice indeed :thumb:

My greatest fear on fitting a quad exhaust is the cut of the rear bumper. How did they trim yours?

New driver side door collected yesterday from the paint shop... Stripped the "old" door off, transferred all the working components to the new door, re-hung, fitted / adjusted to have smooth all round gaps..greased window slide nylons and channels...Very pleased it's working smoothly and is waterproof too. Just need to adjust the height - top stop to be 5mm lower, but I've run out of speed, and a couple of really cold lagers are calling...

Just bought some M mirrors off eBay, unfortunately not the right colour though :?

I've just fitted cruise control too after reading Brian H's excellent write up in the knowledgebase.
Also fitted some M sill covers that I got from eBay for the princely sum of £15 :) and I've finally got round to fitting some Kenwood component front speakers which have been sat in the garage for ages :P

While I was ensconced in the footwells, I thought I'd have a go at fitting some lights like g8jka has. All fitted and connected up to the output from the ZKE module - working like a good 'un..... For about 5 mins then flickered and packed in, also shorting out the standard interior lights :head: Oh well, something to do tomorrow then

Order a new pair of silencers from USA. These should make the exhausts sound a bit more throaty:

The chrome dial surrounds were an option it seems...my Z came with them as standard. They are a neat touch though... I've seen them in black too, or maybe they were blacked afterwards.

New screws and clips for the arch-liners, just over £6 for a full set from the local dealer - great time to clear out the crud, clean-up the brake pipes and apply some waxoyl :)

I think there were only on M's as standard... but not sure. Ans yes you can have them in black chrome as an original item.

I bought the Red Zed a new home - or at least a better home! After about two years of off-and-on work I have converted its Garage From Hell into a de luxe motor house, with stereo, air conditioning, double glazing, and an entrance lobby to keep the heat in. It changed this:

Image

To this:

Image

Image

With about 250 mm of fibreglass in the walls and ceiling it should be quite cosy once I get the air conditioning compressor fitted - it gives 3700 watts of heat output for only 1200 watts in. That will be the next job, followed by a few more shelves, and painting the floor in pale grey gloss epoxy paint.

OK - it cost about 4,000 Euros, which is more than the car is worth, but who cares?
