asc mode

Post by littlefeller »

its a simple question but if I press the asc button the light comes on, now the question is with light on is the asc on or have I just switched it off? some cars default to on and you have to manually switch them off.

If you press the button and the light comes on then it's off.

Agreed - the system defaults to ON on start-up - also if the light flashes during driving then the system is controlling.

You can check the system with your BMTechnics OBD.

The dash light is a yellow warning light - if it is illuminated, then the system is either turned off or has a fault and is disabled. As mentioned, the light flashes to show it is active. If you turn it off it will stay off until the next time you start the car, then it will default to on again.

Cheers R.

guess that settles it. I did check it with impa, but I wanted to know how to switch it off, wasn't sure if it defaulted to on. :)
