if they were off any other 3 series they would but I understand the ones from a m3 will not as the rear offset is different .

They should fit ok, ask the seller for the et which should be stamped on the inside reverse of the rim or spoke.

They need to be around et 41

I had these on my 1.9, same offset. The rear should be OK but the fronts are mighty close to the edge.

not really a good image but you can just see the front wheels in relation to the arches

Did you have any rubbing inside or outside on the fronts Brian ?

Non at all but the 1.9 did sit quite high, i.e. big wheel arch gap. I would say if you had a car on ///M tech suspension (15mm lower than standard) or lowering spring (typically 30mm lower than standard) then there could be rubbing on the front inner wheel arch liner.
