how to replace rubber outer door handle seals?

Can anyone post concise instructions on replacing rubber seals on door handle.

It's a bit of fidly job you need to take your door panel of then put your window up first.

Wken you look at the handle from the inside there is a slide on it you need to push in and then push the door handle out and then replace the seal.

...actually all you need do is remove the oval rubber grommet on the door edge, insert a thin screwdriver with a "90" degree bend at the tip and locate the small sliding locking plate which is pulled towards you... it releases the handle and which can be removed outward from it's housing sufficiently to allow easy replacement of the seal...follow the link below for a full photographic experience...

Here you go , as southernboy says you DO NOT need to remove the door card just use the access hole on the edge of the door. The pics in the link give you a goos idea of what is going on inside that little oval.

The Chinese stuff will only last 12 months (in my weather conditions).
Spend a few more quid and buy OEM.

The door handle seals are not supplied as a separate item to the door handle by BMW...Been down that road recently..that's why the Taiwan guys are selling them on eBay...and they're as good as you will get from BMW anyhow...

My ebay ones are still perfect after over three years, bought at the same place and same time as Bon Bon's.
Maybe it's a climate thing?

I'm afraid I cannot vouch for the ones I changed, I no longer have that car
