Part Number???

Post by marcusplowman »

Can anyone tell me what the part numbers are for this connector pipe and clips on an S50 Z3M...it connects the radiator to the expansion tank located behind the strut turret...

Ive been searching on RealOEM for ages and cant seem to find it anywhere :(

As you can see the one that is fitted to the 2.8 M52TU gets in the way of any induction kit...

Can't you just use a flexible pipe/hose? Like a fuel supply hose... looks the same...

I had been looking at that earlier but cant work out what pipe it is...could be 20 or 21 but theres no part number etc for 21 :(

Ive got a few meters of red silicone hose but wanted to try to keep the pipe work as standard as possible.

Most probably its No 20 you want, the diagram is a generic diagram for a range of models if the part is not listed it will not be fitted to the vehicle you based your search on.

Another option would be to make your own out of copper pipe with rubber hose connections either end, downside is more joints for possible leaks. You could paint the copper tubing black to tone it down.

If there's no part number listed then it means your car doesn't have that part. The diagrams are used across multiple versions and models of cars, so don't necessarily represent your car, whereas the parts listing is vehicle specific.
