True, 18 inch is the best fit for the Z3. Looking for some hartge classics 18", but in the mean while these will do fine.

Keep in mind that my car is lowered 30mm, and has a 20mm spacer per wheel at the back.more specs/pics

Hi Sledgehammer, what are the rim sizes and what size tyres are fitted to front and rear?

Hi Gary, cause it's a 1.9 i wasn't able to put wider rims/tires on the back.

Tires: Pirelli P-Zero Nero, 235/35ZR19 front and back.
Rims: 19"x8.5J front and back.

Even with the little difference in circumference, i cant notice a real change on the speedo. And the ride is still comfi btw.

Hi there guys, stumbled across this topic, any chance you could let me know what lowering springs you used on your z3.

Did you have any difference in the height on the front arches compared to the back.

At present Ive got a gap of 40mm from the wheel arch to top of tyre and on the back a gap of 64mm from the arch to the tyre.

Any thoughts?

So I imagine that your using four front wheels then ? In any case they look very nice indeed.

@Carlo: These wheels only come in one size. The 18" however, are available with two different offsets. Check this site for more info

Hi stylus, some people prefer to lower the front a bit more than the back. That's why there are multiple lowering kits available on the market.
I lowered mine with eibach, just the springs, front:30mm back:30mm. Didn't do any measurements, but it looks like the backside tends to drop a bit further.
And don't forget the wheelspacers, they are a must have if u lowered the car. :D

The wheels are up for sale, but haven't made an advertisement yet. If anyone is interested, just PM me, although shipping would be a bit of a problem. :o

Spacers are not necessary when lowering the car, it just gives a better (wider) look. :)

You could buy a pair of rims with a higher offset, so that the wheels will stick out more, which gives the same effect as wheelspacers.

For example, same car, without spacers and lowering kit.

Ebay is always willing to help. :D I'm not from the UK, but i'm sure someone on this forum knows a good adress for spacers.

This is the way to determine how wide your spacers should be. Best doing this after the lowering kit is in place.

Most of the time 20mm is the best choice, and a DRA-system will do the trick:

"This spacer is fitted to the hub with special wheel bolts and has new threaded holes for exisiting wheel bolts."

Dont' buy a pair of cheap universal spacers, these could cause instability. Like these:
