I didn't know that they made the non M coupes in RHD

I also found this car - it says that its an M coupe but it doesnt have the M wheels, side gills or rear lights and it also seems to have non M suspension

I can understand trying to make your standard Coupe more like the 'M' (I know some folks get hot under the collar about putting 'M' badges on the back but generally pedants can and do get excited about any & everything that takes their fancy) and the first example has clearly done that but as Jonnt says it's in the advert so it's no con...I have to say I'm intrigued and wonder how much it cost to convert from LHD to RHD!
The second one intrigues me...why try and make the M coupe look...well less like an M Coupe with the wheels (I have these on my non-M Coupe) and the normal gills?...having said that I love the colour (whether it should be on an S50 or not).
As for wanting something that isn't an M when the cost is the same as an M...if your license is an automatic only license or for some reason your left leg can't push a clutch down then an automatic coupe has to be the next best thing IMHO...

Me thinks you mean #2 on the list?
ped·ant (pdnt)

3. Obsolete A schoolmaster. A IT Director.
Maybe the geezer (person) sold them wheels and gills before flogging (putting up for sale) the motor?Richardenigma wrote:The second one intrigues me...why try and make the M coupe look...well less like an M Coupe with the wheels (I have these on my non-M Coupe) and the normal gills?

I agree HT...thats why I have one...an automatic that is...and don't M Coupe sellers generally leave on the standard gills and wheels? But hey you're quite right it's absolutely possible that they may have removed them and already sold them...
As Wikepedia says...A pedant is a person who is excessively concerned with formalism and precision...the term in English is typically used with a negative connotation, indicating someone overly concerned with minutiae and whose tone is perceived as condescending.
