MOT Today!

Post by G2JRP »

Dropped car off today for mot but was expecting it to fail as had heard a knock from the front he last time I drove it.

It passed with no advisories!!

One week left before it is put away for the winter.

Good news mate. Mind you would have been surprised after seeing the car at silverstone if it had failed

Glad it passed; I always get apprehensive before the test.

Why not keep it out on the road a little longer. Nothing to beat driving on a cold clear morning with the roof down, even if it is January.

Would like too but gets very slippy in the wet! Only get to use at weekend as have long commute and free fuel in the company car, so will not get much use.

My wife's Porsche's MOT is due next month!

Lure of free petrol and long commute very enticing. I fully understand the issues in the wet. I am trying to find the best new tryes for both dry and wet handling. Not winter tyres but tyres which give the best compromise for when I drive my Z In bad weather I take the estate and have winter and summer tryes and I rotate in October and March.

Hope the wife's car passes. It is my resposibility to get both the Z's MOTs. It is even worse waiting for her results.
