Manic Z8 experience in italy yesterday

Post by risquenun »

I returned from holiday on lake garda last night. Yesterday there was a big car rally on in Brescia.
Until then I had never seen a Z8.
Yesterday in the course of 3 hours I saw 12
I got some pics of 2 in a car park and one on the road (together with numerous ferraris and Porsche).
How many Z8's were built?

I will post pics tomorrow when I am less tired.

Les,

that was the Z8 club. We had a meeting in the Brescia area to attend the Mille Miglia. Our hotel was at the Lago di Garda, but we were all over the places, of course. There were about 70 Z8 there, if my recollection is right.

Re echo what Conor has just said. Gorgeous, gorgeous cars in a fabulous setting. Absolutely adore Lake Garda.

Good idea though, a lovely drive in a zed around Garda.

Please don't wet yourself Conor. Couldn't cope with that!!

I'd love to hear about your approach to converting the Z4 coupe in to a race car and your opinion after a seasons racing.

With prices so low in many parts of Europe and many tried and tested parts it makes an attractive platform.

How much mass did you manage to remove from the car?
