Hey all,
My mate is just getting into photography, and I've always been into Photoshop and Lightroom. We put our heads together and this is what we came up with. I'm really pleased with them how they came out, then putting it into black and white finished it off. Anyway enough talking...

Thanks guys! Was really pleased with them.
Titan, it was like that when I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I wondered the same thing...I came to the conclusion that because it's angular they couldn't get it to stick. Just a guess tho.
Regards,
Dave

Nice on Dave! I've only had a squint on my iPhone, because we can't access ImageShack through our company firewall
Will have to wait till I'm home to see them if their full glory...
I had noticed the number plate on the Surrey cruise and assumed the previous owner was security conscious

Jonesy - Cheers mate, I've got that one as my desktop and a slide show of all of them as a screen saver. I have a HD TV as my monitor and the resolution of the camera is bigger than 1080p. He spent about a grand and a half on it...
BimBeema - That's crap...you could easily get these results. First if you're shooting at night you want to use a tripod (sorry I'm not available ) keep the shutter speed as low as possible (we kept it open for the max - 30 secs). The lighting was just the street lights in the area the actual image was very orange, due to the colour of the lights. Then I ran the image through Adobe Lightroom, where you can change the exposure of each colour element and thus getting that black and white effect. Then you are able to touch up the individual elements of the photos - for example in some of them I made the background more blurred so that the car was the focal point. Then brought the brightness of the car up so that it "popped". It's really just trial and error, just enjoy it and think about car photos you've seen to get ideas of positioning.
Gaz - Cheers mate, the screen on the iphone is great so im sure it still had the same effect. As for the plate...I do live in London, actually thinking about a padlock for both plates - just to be sure
Seasurfer - If I just change the lighting slightly on the 6th one and add the blue tinge I did with the first one, then it would probably have the same effect
