Instrument cluster from 1997 1.9 manual 5 speed z3. Mileage reading 119,000 miles. Just bought it for my car then found out they changed the electronics in 98 so i need the later cluster. Looking to sell it for what i paid which was £80 plus £10 p + p

I don't suppose it has a part number on it? If it does, then this might help a potential buyer.

I see 12 part numbers listed for my car (01/99) with various dates from Sept '98 through to the end of production with a few other end dates in between. If I go to an earlier car (01/98) there are a further 8 part numbers with dates from the start of production to Sept '98. So from that, it looks like Sept '98 might be the changeover date.

Looks like the manufacture date is sep 97 but it has several numbers on it so cannot be sure which one is the part number. I could supply them all to any prospective buyer.
