WTD: Z3 Aerial Grommet

Post by Cheeseandbeans »

Evening all. Has anyone got one of the small aerial grommets knocking about? The one that fits into the wing? Could actually do with an aerial as well if someone is breaking a Z3?

Thanks

Contact Andy - Spurs Fan in a Coupe... he will likely have a replacement aerial etc for you...

For a "facelift car" the Aerial grommet part number is 65218411562 cost £6.39. Even better, it's dead easy to fit

On the realoem diagram there is an external and internal grommet. When replacing due to a leak is it wise to replace both the external and internal grommets?

2002 Z3 2.2 Titan Silver (Cookies) - Keeper rebuilt having been bought with a seized engine
2002 Z3 3.0 Sapphire Black (Peanut) - Keeper awaiting rebuilding having been bought as an abandoned project
Plus Willy, Kodak & Maycee - All 2.2 Sport projects. Yes, 6 is a lot of Z3s :)
Always happy to try and help with spares :)

If the large grommet is perished or appears to be, then replace it, although I have not come across a problem with them. Generally it's the little one which seals into the fender that cracks up.
