The TrafficPro navigation system shown above during Homecoming 2000 fits into the dash of the Z3 replacing the normal radio cassette/CD player and provides radio, CD and navigation.

Apparently it's ready to go in Europe but won't be available in the US until early 2001.

It's the start of a closer relationship between BMW and Harman International--which comprises Harman Kardon (speakers), JBL (amps) and Becker (in car)--likely to lead to Harman units deployed as standard by BMW.
